All About You's Privacy Policy

All About You provides Beauty Therapy treatments and is a Data Controller under the terms of the Data Protection Act 2017 and the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Your Data:

We value your privacy. In our records we collect personal and sensitive category data as part of our legal obligations, We only collect information about you, your lifestyle and your medical history that are necessary to assess your suitability for treatment and factors that may be affecting any conditions you are seeking treatment for. This information is solely used for the purpose of contacting you about your appointments, process any enquires, or complaints made by you or to supply products or services. We do not collect or hold your payment card information which is used to pay for your products or services.

Storage & Retention:

All your information is stored within our online Fresha system or paper copies which are stored securely in a locked draw which is fully compliant with GDPR legislation. All laptops and accounts are password protected. No information kept in a hard copy format will be transferred to external devices.

Your information will be held for 7 years following your last treatment with us (or for a child until the date of their 25th Birthday). This is required of us to comply with our legal and insurance requirements. These legal requirements override the right of erasure.

Information Sharing:

Your information will not be shared with any third parties without your consent. If the information provided indicates that information may be required from your GP or another medical profession, we will contact you to gain your consent prior to contacting them.

Your Rights:

You can request to view the information held about you at any time by writing to us. Your information will be provided to you within one calendar month. If you wish to amend any of the data held about you, you must also contact us in writing and provide relevant supporting documentation. We will not contact you with regards to marketing information about our business unless you have given consent to do so in the marketing notification box within you online Fresha profile. You can amend this consent for marketing at any time.
